About MeI am an undergraduate student of English Language and Literature (Letras) at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) with an expected graduation date of 2019. I took the decision of joining this major due to the fact that I am fond of Literature. In my first year, I had to face the choice between whether study to become a teacher or to focus on one of the bachelor degrees that my university offers. Since my aim is to focus on English Literature, I decided to take the bachelor degree. Although my knowledge concerning novels is greater than concerning theatre, I may affirm that Shakespeare is my favorite author. I appreciate the way he explored human's behaviour and psychology through his plays. Therefore, I would like to make my final project at my university about something pertinent to English Theatre - a topic that amuses me. I am about to start a researching about this theme - my goal is to analyse the cinema adaptations of Shakespeare's Hamlet that presented the major character as a woman. Moreover, I also want to extend this research about theatre to a master's degree after graduating. Actually, my ambition is to become an English Literature professor.
